Title: LPG Installation
Post by: Goldcraig on August 05, 2014, 08:06:10 am
Looking to install LPG at our property. Can anyone offer any advice as to installers / pricing etc?
In North Ayrshire, thanks....

It used to be that the company that installed the tank then supplied you with LPG but I think that changed a few years ago.  Ours was installed by MSF (now Countrywide) and fitted with an aerial link that finds the nearest mobile signal - our daily use is recalculated every day so the tanker comes out whenever it goes down to 40% capacity.  Keep an eye on prices all the time.  If your regular supplier's price is above that of rival companies it's worth having a word with the sales department and asking why.  In our experience they generally reduce your price to match.  Our tank is close to the lane - a distinct advantage in winter as it's your responsibility to clear the drive/track from the lane to the tank so you can get deliveries in ice or snow.

Isn't oil cheaper?
