Title: JSR Geneconverter 700
Post by: Rosemary on April 18, 2008, 07:47:24 pm
Doesn't quite trip of the tongue like Gloscester Old Spot or Oxford Sandy and Black but, according to this weeks' Scottish Farmer, the Geneconverter 700 may be the World's most efficient pig, with feed conversion rate of 13.4% less than the UK average, saving £5 per finished pig in feed bils.

Pebbles, if you're looking for a daddy, this could be your boy!! He's not bonny, I've no idea what he tastes like but he's very efficient!

The Jsr Geneconvertor would be only of use if you were into F1 's and would be of no use in an outdoor unit, sorry to disapoint, stick to the pigs which survive and thrive outdoors as they would do a far better job
