Ok, the two boys are off to the abbotoir tomorrow morning :( and I am just getting everything ready so hopefully it will go smoothly as this is our first time.....
Can anyone tell me what I may be missing please?!
- online movement licence and print out for haulier (me)
- tagged with 1 metal ear tag each last night - and still on this morning!
- practised loading into the trailer 6 times now and all goes smoothly
Anything obvious I have missed out?!
Thank you!

I always print two AML's - one to take with me & leave and one for my file at home.
Hope all goes smoothly

Depending on the kind of abattoir you're using and how busy it is there: the feed bucket to rouse the boys with after their journey (mine tend to fall asleep in the trailer - though a very competent man there usually unloads them for us).
Put their breakfast in the trailer and they'll load themselves ;)

A list for the butcher with your name, number and how you want it cutting?
-
freezer space for when they come home again :excited:

Should take feed, water and a bucket (or in our case an old frying pan you can slide in and hold onto the handle of) in case of breakdown.
