I am enjoying it too. I live in Wales but am English and have also lived in Scotland. I find myself getting confused over who to support  ;D
I thought the mixed triathlon was great as well. I hope they put in the olympic games

We've got tickets for the shooting on Tuesday - it's just at our road end so we can hear it all the time, but it will be good to be part of it.

Seems to be going well.

Although you all probably know my political persuasions I have been supporting ALL the home countries! i was delighted to see Adam Peaty winning his heat in the 50m sprint this morning. so if we get a one, two, three result I am delighted!

it's been great so far but for me I like how they combine the para-sports with the able bodied

We went to today, to see the badminton semi finals this morning. Really enjoyed it, was ok to get there, hardly any queues to get in. All the volunteers were hopelessly cheerful, far too early in the morning  ;)  But they did put everyone into a good mood! My niece has met 3 of judo players, including our flag bearer who won his gold medal today (he threw her on the floor when they met).

I haven't actually watched much of the coverage yet, but I did see snatches of the judo and rugby sevens.

We're going to Hamden on Tuesday to watch some athletics  ;D  Can't wait

You are all so lucky having it on your doorstep.
We managed to get very expensive tickets for the Olympics in London and even though we didn't get to see any 'special' events I wouldn't have missed it. Fantastic atmosphere and great just being part of it.

Enjoy, all those who are going to various bits of the games

I've only just realised someone I went to school with is actually a commonwealth medalist. She won another silver medal tonight. Well done Eilidh!

Ps, I didn't know Eilidh very well as she is quite a few years younger, but I was in the same year as her sister! Exciting!

I agree totally. Really good games, home nations did well, and great showcase for Glasgow.

I thought the Games were brilliant. Too much Kylie in the closing ceremony and too much Barrowman in the opening one, IMHO.

Thoroughly enjoyed the sport though.
