Hello folks,
Just wanted to ask a quick question abotu transporting cattle - can this be done in a horse box?

Im not sure if technically they can, but practically they can as that what we used to transport our dexters - we had to make two trips though as 3 cows, 1 steer and 1 calf wouldnt all fit in at once.
We also used a sheep hurdle over the top of the back door rather than fully closing it up - Im not sure if we needed to do that or not but we felt better with them having some light coming in.

Sure you don't need side gates on the ramp? You do for sheep and pigs, would have thought even more
important for cattle.

ok for a quick journey somewhere but not for abattoir or anywhere a trading standards may be. ::) ::)

We have actually used the Horsebox to transport 2 jerseys to the abattoir. We did ask the abattoir in advance if it was ok and they said yes It was fine
