Title: Grazing
Post by: Porterlauren on June 13, 2014, 12:04:05 pm
Out of interest, what kind of prices are you guys paying for grazing? (and what type of land and deal are you getting for you money?)

The prices here are steadily rising, in large part due to the horsey crowd, who can afford to pay silly figures

It's just one of those things, folk are quite willing to out lay money on their hobbies with no return. So I guess if you only want a couple of acres for your horse, paying 200 - 250 an acre per year is fine.

But when you want to rent in the same area for grazing sheep, those kind of figures are just impossible to work with.

Picked up some more today though ranging between 50 and 100 an acre.
