Title: Trio of Embden Geese ...Scottish Borders
Post by: Daisys Mum on May 17, 2014, 09:40:29 am
Lovely trio looking for a new home, the girls have both been laying but have now gone broody, don't want anything for them just a good home. My 3 year old grandson is terrified of the Gander and as I keep him a couple of days a week it is making my life very difficult. We are in Reston which is just off the A1

It was nice to meet you and see your smallholding Anne. The geese flew straight out of the back of the pickup to our geese. There was a bit of argy-bargy I guess to establish who is boss, then they have wandered round all day eating grass together. Yours are keeping just a little bit away from ours, but I think they are fine together.
All the best,
Simon

Pleased that they have settled well, Arnie the tup went off on his summer holidays just after you had gone so it has been very peaceful here this afternoon. The goats have been able to go wherever they wanted to without getting chased.
