Very much hope to, we've been looking forward to it. Not sure which day yet and we're keeping quiet that we've got a weekend free or we'll have more relatives descend! Let nothing get in the way of all things smallholding!! :P

I'm looking after four wonderful surrogate grandchildren so Mummy and Daddy Bloomer can go and help and stay overnight in a posh hotel :innocent:
-
I'll be going - probably Saturday. Keen to meet up at the children's/circus area like before. Last year there was a coffee bar just behind there with tables.
-
We are going .... probably be Sunday.
-
I'm there Friday to Sunday. Mostly in the pig shed, probably chasing runaway January-born ginger things.
Will also be popping over to the South Glamorgan Hall, as Country Smallholding has a stand there this year - first time. The editor, Simon, will be there both days, so do go and tell him what you'd like to see more of in the magazine.
If anyone does happen to call in at my pig pens and I'm not there, my mobile number will be on the pen, so give me a call. Be great to put more faces to names.
-
As long as my hoggs don't decide to lamb after all I'll be going on Saturday.
Need to see people at the angora goats and shetland sheep especially.
Where and when does anyone want to meet up.
A picnic lunchtime somewhere??
-
We will be there Saturday .... I suggest we go with Suziequeue and do what we did last year .... about 11am near the children's area which is close enough for anyone in pig and sheep shed to join us if they have a moment. . It might even be warm enough to break out the TAS T shirt? See anyone who is free at that time..
-
Yep, see you at 11am with dog in tow.
-
We're going and at the moment looks like it will be Saturday so look forward to meeting up

Be great to see you again Lisa... and everyone else of course!! :sunshine:

Bionic, dogs aren't welcome nowadays. On the website it says no dogs except guide dogs, but they will let them in if you have no choice but to bring them. Seems a bit silly really, let them in or don't a bit indecisive. ???
-
I haven't taken the dog in the past and realised that there has been loads of dogs there despite them saying that dogs aren't welcome. There is a big dog show there so they can't say no dogs. I know they aren't allowed in the halls or livestock places, even though you still see them there. OH and I will take it in turns to hold the dog outside while we view.
I could leave him at home but it means cutting short our visit so I am taking him this year and will see how we get on.

Thank you Linda :)
We are definitely going tomorrow so see you all about 11.00 then, hope I manage to recognise someone :o
Lisa
-
Lisa,
I am expecting to wear my olive green TAS T-shirt so you should recognise me at least.
Sally
-
Sally I'm sure that will help, I was thinking I should at least be able to recognise you, Linda and Angela if she's there, even if we have only met once before ;)
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

...We'll be going on Sunday Lisa, so won't see you guys there... but perhaps we can organise meeting up again sometime soon?
Angela

Se you all at 11am on Saturday at the children's area/coffee bar.
I will be wearing my khaki TAS hoodie unless it's too warm…..

Angela
That's a pity Angela and yes, we must have another Carmarthenshire meet soon, had all good intentions of instigating the next one a while ago and then realised that a lot of people were occupied with lambing. I was going to offer to host it here at ours, so I will try and kick that off when we get back today ;)

Did anyone else think this event is getting smaller each year or is it just me? We did have a great time and stayed in a wonderful B&B nearby but it seemed to lack depth.
-
SF, I did wonder the same and then I thought I was probably getting it mixed up with the Royal Welsh show.
-
Everything gets smaller as it gets familiar ... I didn't notice any difference myself
-
That's funny ..... we said the same. Didn't seem as many crafters there for one thing. :-\
