Spent a few hours yesterday and today stripping the shaft off my flail mower, as the bearing case broke on one side. All parts ordered ready to get it up and running, ready to tame the overgrowth on my recently purchased land.

Wooo hooo
New parts fitted and it works a treat I will go as far as to say I will be able to do without buying a tractor and topper now.

Here it is in action

Hi Veg,
Where did you get parts from? must be a common complaint as i need shaft bearings and one Aluminum bearing cup. Before the bearing collapsed it was an awesome machine

I looked at the bearings for the number on them mine being FL205 then just did a search for them online. Cant remember the exact place but the full bearing was £8 each so I replaced both on the flail shaft. You have to specify the shaft diameter.
Mine had a few flails missing when I bought it and that caused my bearing to fail.
