I used to get poultry feed from the shop in Kildean but it closed down when the new Auction Mart opened up :(
Now looking for a local-ish supplier for poultry feed - I'm in Bo'ness. Anyone got any recommendations, or even better, know if the one at Kildean has relocated somewhere? ???

Hi Pomona,
I get my poultry feed from McCaskies (think that's how you spell it) in Springkerse Industrial estate in Stirling, they'll have everything you'll need from mash to pellets. It'll be a little closer to you as well. They supply 5kilo bags as well as 20 kilo bags.
Hope this helps.
Gordon.

The shop at Kildean closed totally as United Auctions didn't want them to move to the new market outside Stirling.
There are loads of local places, Central Saddlery http://www.centralsaddlery.co.uk/contact/ (http://www.centralsaddlery.co.uk/contact/) at Standburn on the A803 sells chicken food, both pellets, mixed grain and layers mash, shavings etc as well as horse/goat food. Also Russells country store supplies has a place outside Linlithgow Tel: 01506 652830, Wester Woodside Farm, Linlithgow, EH49 6QE, and its main shop in Larbert, Falkirk.
Caledonian market just at Springkerse in Stirling has a feed stockist inside in as well- noticed it at the rare breed sale last week.
Hope that helps too.

We used to get ours from Kildean, but ran into the same problem as you of late.
We now get it from Boquhan farm supplies, which is on the main road near Kippen. A bit far from you perhaps, but worth knowing about in case you're passing. Current price for 20kg of 'smallholder range' layers pellets is just under £10.
