Title: Keeping water buts fresh
Post by: HelenG on April 05, 2014, 09:38:25 pm
Hi,

We have a great water but and collect loads of water, but the water stinks. I remember reading somewhere ages ago that you could put plants in the but to keep it fresh. I can't remember if you actually planted them or if you added a bouquet almost.

Does anyone know about this of know where I can get more info?

Hel.

Google is your best friend for these matters! We keep goldfish in ours, it was a google idea and works really well!

You could put some water soldiers in, they float and oxygenate the water
