I have a question that I would like advice on. I have just removed a lovely enamel oil burner from one of my rooms and replaced it with a wood burner. I have another two oil burners I need to replace, however before I do so, can I convert these oil burners to wood burners? Its seems such a waste and they are lovely items but hugely costly to run (and messy). I know I'll need to change the flue size, but I'm not sure if the actual burner itself can be converted. Could anyone advise please? ???

Years ago we had an oil-fired Rayburn converted to solid fuel but it had started life as a solid fuel type. It should be do-able though.
