This week I've outdone myself in the blagging stakes !
A garden shed (just needs new felt on the roof ) and 5 UPVC double glazed windows!
I'm sooo proud of myself, been after a shed for ages (now I've got it I'm torn between using it for my gardening tools or converting it into a chicken shed ???) and the windows in my house are very old, tatty wooden ones. The new ones are only very slightly smaller than the existing ones, so for a day of my joiner friend's time I'll be able to get all cosy and draught free in time for winter.
I reckon I've saved myself at least £1500 (which I didn't have in the first place lol!) and saved more landfill in the process. I'll be recycling my old windows into a glass house / cold frame arrangement too, so thats even better !

Go for the chicken shed option. You can't scramble a spade.
