Hi Linda, I did reply yesterday. Firstly I asked did you really mean East Carmarthenshire?
I use the abattoir at Tregaron for the pigs which they do on a Wed. They do lambs on a Monday. Very helpful people and the boss butchers on site. They have their own butchers shop in the village where you go to pick up sausages and bacon.
Oaklands has produced an abattoir list in the pig section where people have commented on the good and bad. Of course as this was specifically for pigs you would need to check that the do lambs too.

Thanks Sally That is very helpful.

There is one in Crosshands. I haven't used it myself, but Mandy has.
Tregaron also do lambs & cows.

Tregaron is where I take my lambs, have been using them for 5 years and have nothing but praise for them.

Although they do lambs and pigs on different days, as it takes me about an hour to get there, they offered to do both on the same day for me to save 2 trips.
As it happens I didn't have both ready at the same time but not sure how I would get them both there together anyway .
