Title: Goat keepers
Post by: Merlinn on March 23, 2008, 09:09:19 pm
Hi

Are there any goat keepers on this forum? I would like to be able to chat with some 'goat minded people' I know a fair bit about goats but I know I have a great deal to learn.

Regards

Merlinn

I used to keep a lot of goats including Ch R230 Honeydown Mercedes Q*1 BrCh who became a full Champion in 1993 I don't keep goats now but know a lot who do. If you ever want help don't hesitate to ask. Are you a member of your local goat club or the British Goat Society? There is lots of info on the BGS website at www.allgoats.org.uk

Hi Merlinn,
Yes, I am a goatkeeper, new member on this group, but certainly not new to goatkeeping.  What sort of goats do you keep and is there anything in particular that you want to know about?  I have about 40 years experience and would be happy to pass on any useful information to you.
I am based in Somerset.
