Ours didn't go so well this morning...
Got the trailer out, completely flat tyre on one side!! Couldn't find our air compressor. Had to scrap taking the pigs today and will get a new tyre on the trailer. Only problem is I now have to get them to the abattoir by 7am tomorrow!
Sheep went in our small trailer and went into the abattoir with no bother at all!

Our last 2 walked into the trailer without a single problem and bedded down into the straw even before we left then when we got there walked out and followed me into the pen .
The Goats we took yesterday where a bit of a pain, they wouldn't come out of the trailer then when they did come out it was like they had been shot of a cannon !

well they were dropped off.... didnt want to get out of trailer and it decided me that by the next lot, i will have a taller trailer rather than my home built one

The two pigs came back, cut into basic cuts.
A friend helped me to then further butcher them :relief: ( in exchange for some pork :-))
and we have split it between the freezers.
Had the first meal of it on Wednesday and it were lovely :excited:
!/2 going off to the in-laws and some given as gifts to friends
A friend who had said they wanted a 1/2 has dropped out so we are now keeping 1 and a bit pigs...... Oh dear, will have to eat it ourselves, starting with a big roast dinner on Sunday after a walk to help start this years Poppy Appeal
