It looks lovely  . I am just going through the seed catalogue myself so might just buy some flower seeds too.

All perennial (well on the whole) and busy collecting seeds of lots so I can flog to friends to fu d the rest of the garden. Amazing how the coreopsis in the photos which I grew from seed was selling at over £6 a plant by garden centres.

Now I just need to convince people I know that the seeds in my own branded seed packets will work... Just because they aren't paying £3 a packet for a brand name.

They look great - particularly impressed with the lupins which I've also tried growing from seed this year and are nowhere near as big (or flowering) as yours. I've also got Coreopsis from plugs which are not as luxurious either - should have watered more, I think. Good luck with the selling!

How do your flowers look so complimenting tomeach other?
My flowers look like Ive just stuck them in randomly  they never seem to look right and I spend each year digging up and replanting in a different position   :innocent:

Generally I just pick varieties I like and put them where I think they will do well. If they don't work then I'll try something else the next year. No laborious planning goes into it, as that takes all the fun out if it.

Looks great - did you sow direct into the beds - or did you germinate under cover first?

They all started off in my little green house. The beds you see aren't raised in the sense that the soil is still at its original level. I just took the turf off and then dug over the soil.
