Title: Victoria Plums worms.
Post by: BML on August 29, 2013, 04:33:54 pm
All of the Victoria plums I have are infected with worm.  What action can I take to stop this next season?

Brings back memories of my mum stewing her Victoria plums and HeeHeeHee (she went after we ate them)...the worms were all pink....

Add to this the blackfly, greenfly, bugs inside the raspberries and the unpasteurised milk we were raised on - and no wonder we are never ill!  Good immunity here.

Our first few always are too. They seem to get 'worm-free' after the first few dozen but it makes you careful how you eat the plums  :)  I'd love to know if there is a way to eradicate it but not sure we could manage with the number of trees here.
