Title: Mushroom compost?

Yesterday i went over to my local mushroom farmer and got 3 bag of mushroom compost and i have it in my compost bin to rot down into black compost does anyone know how long this will take to breakdown and what's the benefits of mushroom compost to the soil?

we've used loads of spent mushy compost as a soil imrpover over the years. Seems to do the trick as it's mostly well rotted horse manure.

I buy it by the ton and its great as already been said as a soil improver but not all plants like it
