Our son Martin is going to be looking after the place for us and so, we're off for the weekend. We'll be having a slow dawdle on Friday down to our favourite cider farm.

Enroute, we'll be stopping at The Acton Scott Museum for a picnic.

Next on the list will be The Ludlow Food Hall.
Its a brilliant place to stop, they keep GOS pigs but in a rather bigger way than us. :pig:

Then onto the historic and beautiful town of Ludlow itself for a good
mooch around and an explore. We love Ludlow.
On the Friday night, we'll be meeting up with my cousin and his wife and with a bit of luck, we'll be taking advantage of what should be an open cellar evening at Broome Farm.
On the Saturday, possibly a tad hung over, the four of us will be taking to the water with these people on the River Wye.

There's still life left in the old dog yet and needless to say, Kaz and I are both looking forward to the weekend immensely. I'm also hoping to be able to fit a few 50 gallon wooden barrels in the back of the van to bring home. Empty of course. :innocent:

Hope you have a fab weekend!
OH is wanting to get into canoing/kayaking. Can't say I am keen as I just seem to wobble and not be able to steer when I go!

That food centre in Ludlow was recommended to me only the other day. We worth a visit I'm told.

We call there every time that we pass. Its much better than the one at Rhug and much cheaper too.
