Hi there, we are a small family run shearing enterprise, specialising in shearing smallholder flocks, from 1 - how ever many you have! We can also offer foot trimming whilst we are on site. Reasonable rates!  All the above areas are covered, but if you are outwith these areas, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. Please get in touch asap as we are arranging dates from beginning of June. Evenings and weekends are no problem.  Look forward to hearing from you!  :sheep:

That's brilliant always have problems getting a shearer I am based on the west of Edinburgh 5 mins from the rhs show ground my mobile 07778168275

That's me booked in for the 8th June, now just need to book the weather and work out what to do with the fleeces!!

Well I managed to get the weather sorted! All clipped and I did the feet, worming and covexin8 !


Fleeces all going to a lady in Edinburgh and her spinning group.


All the sheep are looking good and seem glad for the trim..

if anyone int i met a shearer at the angus show and he is in aberdeenshire,and taking on work will do small amounts or large flocks,can also help with rounding up as long as notice given,and makes a tidy job,DETAILS MARK MOBILE 07801150189

That might be 'dougal' on here, if it's the shearer based in Tarland.

Hi can we have contact details please We have mainly Soay sheep that shed their fleece but have taken on a couple of Shetlands that might need shearing We are in Fife Thanks

Thanks for coming over today and shearing our small flock of Shetlands. I am more than happy to recommend using Smallholder Shearing and have already organised with them to return next year.

We have a smallholding in West Fife and have a flock of Shetland sheep, some of them are shedding fleece but we could use some help this year and we would like to know what  you would charge to shear up to 20 sheep and when you could be available ?  Would be grateful if you could provide contact details or let us know. mob 07913 254456 Thanks.

Many thanks to you, Gary and your family for travelling up into Speyside to shear our small flock of Jacobs a few weeks ago.  They were really suffering in the heat wave, but were all much happier after you'd beautifully and expertly clipped them.  I can honestly say, they have never looked so good after being shorn.
