Title: talking at school
Post by: Clarebelle on May 17, 2013, 09:32:49 am
I am giving a talk to my local preschool this morning about our quail. Taking the chicks in and telling the kids all about them. They are only 3 year olds but I am really nervous!!  :dunce:

You'll have a great time, they're naturally curious at that age, i love explaining to little ones about our mummy, daddy and baby pigs, had a 5yr old this week ask me what the big bongley things on gerry boars bum were ! lol. I said they were his boys bits and she girls don't have them do they they have lilies! aahhh.

I was really nervous but it went really well! The kids all had a turn holding a chick and none of the chicks got squished so I consider hat a success! They were really fascinated which was good to see, glad I did it.  :chook:
