Title: How to make a sheepskin rug at home?

Sorry I know this has been posted about before but I cant find anything step by step.

I understand as soon as the skin is off the lamb it needs salting. What else do I need to know?

Any tips? How to set up? how long does it take? What do I need?

Thought I'd saved a couple of Youtube vids but can't find where! Will try and source again for you. There were by a heavily bearded man in a forest! That's all I can give you right now  ???
If you go on youtube and key in 'tanning sheepsins' or suchlike, I'm sure, like me, it won't take long to find something useful.
 
Key in Xavier de la Foret.  It's a five part vid clip. I found it really useful.
