Last week I noticed one of my ducks stopped laying. This is very odd as my girls are flat out layers. Couple days later one was limping, no signs of heat, blood or swelling. Left her a few days and she got worse so took her to the vet. They said she has an infection in her air sac and this has lead onto other problems, i.e her leg.
She gave her a jab of some sort of antibiotic (means her eggs are out of used for a month!!!!!) and she has oral antibiotics twice daily. Shes started laying every day again, which tells me shes feeling better??
Shes still lame but can keep up with the other ducks better now. Has anyone experienced this?
Will she ever get better??
