I have about 10 IBCs to store rainwater in. Does anyone know a good pump that will drop in the hole in the top if them to pump the water. There seem to be a few water butt pumps but I wondered if anyone had used any of these with a degree of success?

I use the hozelock one - cost £40 about 3 or 4 years ago. It works fine for watering the garden etc.

Does it fit in the hole at the top of an ibc?

The water garden section of your local
rip off merchant garden centre should have a selection of pond pumps that can shift a fair old gallonage , If you link all the containers on their undersides with hose fittings then you will only need to drop the pump into the first one. And if you live in wales you will be able to fill them all in a day's worth of rain. :gloomy:

I use a 12 volt bilge pump designed for a boat. It was cheap as chips and shifts a lot of water pretty quickly. Loads of em on ebay.

The pump from an old washing machine will do the job.
