Post by: Orinoco on April 20, 2013, 09:48:06 pm
Hi

Anyone know anything about this breed of mini sheep ouessant.

We are looking at providing a petting area as well as work placements for adults with learning difficulties and understand these are mini and friendly, but welcome any info.

Hi,
I keep Ouessants and I also have taught kids with emotional problems and learning difficulties. In my opinion Ouessants are ideal for your needs but you will have to start with them as youngsters to get them "cuddly tame". Ouessants are very inquisitive and "people orientated" but like all animals, are not toys. They are lively, interesting and easy to handle. If you establish a routine with them they are a doddle to manage. I hope this helps.
