Had to assist shearling Southdown lamb twins on the 7/4, not particularly difficult, just needed a pull. There was a bit more blood between lambs but didn't have reason to worry. Gave her 4 days of pen and strep as she had assistance and went quiet and off forage for 2 days(nuts she ate as normal). She is however producing a bit of blood still. Could it be normal for assisted or could there be a tear? Shes fine in her self bright, eating well and looking after lambs(but not quite filling them up, have topped them up since day 1 with the bottle and now at the point where sometimes they want it sometimes they don't)
Guess it how longs a piece of string? I know from the dairy farm a cow could be cleaned up with no sign of having calved in the previous 24hrs and others take week or so stop putting bit of blood out.
Any suggestions?

You're right, it does vary enormously from sheep to sheep. If it were a lot of bright red blood or the discharge smelled or looked wrong I'd recommend consulting your vet but otherwise continue to monitor.

The lack of pain relief is what will put her off her food for the first few days. I use metacam for those who are in pain. My vet advised that they can discharge a little blood for up to 14 days so a if you think its mere serious than that give your vet a call for advice.
