Title: Orphan Lambs - N Dorset/Somerset borders
Post by: TheCaptain on April 14, 2013, 06:57:07 am
Picked up 5 beautiful little ewe lambs (Texel x mules) from one of the bigger flocks around here (over 2000 ewes). Sam is an excellent shepherd and has plenty of 'orphans' as he removes the stronger triplet/2x quads to leave two on mum. All of his lambs stay with mum for first couple of days, and he's only asking around £20 per lamb.

PM me if you want his number.

And I've realised that, if I keep my 5 little lambies, I've just increaed my breeding flock by a third  :D
