Title: any collie rescues in South Wales?
Post by: Backinwellies on April 10, 2013, 10:07:53 am
Hi

I'm looking for a border collie as a house dog and to work my few sheep.  I am happy to have a suitable rescue dog.  The rescue centres I've tried so far are 200 miles plus away.  Anyone know of any in S/mid wales  or along M4 corridor?

Thanks

These have many collies, often ex-farm ones too:

Try searching for collie rather than border collie though  ;)

Also these: http://protectingprelovedbordercollies.co.uk/ (http://protectingprelovedbordercollies.co.uk/) - who try to get collies into rescue that are offered for free through free ad sites - so they may have dogs anywhere in the country with foster people.

  Fab news, I do home checks for them and other collie rescues, if it means that a simple comment on here has helped home another gorgeous collie then I am very happy.   ;D
