Could be bites or a skin disease, give the vet a ring and expain the symptoms.

were do you live. our animals are being midged at the moment so it could well be them. as humans some are more allergic to them than others. get a fry repelant for her and see how it goes. does she have a wallow this would help the skin too.

If the lumps are diamond shaped and have appeared quickly it could be Erysipelas which is serious and life threatening and she needs treatment asap which is normally in the form of several jabs of Pen Strep, the disease is always present in the pig but can be triggered by sudden changes in weather, feed, stress etc, all our breeding stock are jabbed against it at 6 monthly intervals, in boars it can lower fertility and in sows decrease litter sizes, aborted piglets etc. Is she in or out? It could be mange/lice etc but normally you wouldn't get such pronounced lumps, your routine worming with Dectomax/Vibramec or similar take cares mange, lice and worms..

Give your vet a ring is the order of the day....

Not likely to be bites or wasp stings if they are the size of a 2 pence piece.  Might be an allergy.  Worth calling out the vet perhaps.

All OK my local farmer took a look and said not to worry as some pigs come up in these lumps, he did say a name but he is welsh so couldn't quite understand, but he said that they would go as fast as they came and wouldn't harm the pig and they did. She is fine now. When i get a chance i will up load a picture of both of them thank you for all your replies.
