I recently undertook a 560 mile round trip from south wales to east anglia and during the journies there and back I noticed lots of what appeared to be this years badgers and foxes splatterd near the road killed phesants and partridges .
Small but bigger than a Jack Russel sized brocks with almost orange belly hair and bright rusty red foxes about the size of a large moggy .
Has any one else noticed what might be early litters due to last years very mild weather caught out by the " cooler " weather & traffic this year ???

lots of cubs chowing down here in devon

Fox cubs just out and about here in stirling

We've got a set of cubs on the farm, was 5 now down to 3 thanks to the road outside.

There must be a set nearby here to as there was a fox barking outside the house last night, so I went to double check the chickens were securely shut in, only to hear lots of funny noises just over the dyke in the woods so I can only presume there's a family of the little ginger chicken eating monsters nearby! Worst part is landlord doesn't allow us to shoot them.

We had a dog fox take one of our chickens and then come back the ext night, (whilst we were sitting out having a drink, no less) and nab one of our neighbours chickens - luckily neighbour had set a wire where it was getting in and caught it on its way back out, chicken is alive, minus tail feathers, charlie is very dead...
We asume the reason it was so brazen is that it had cubs to feed.

34 and counting since january had cubs last night
