Title: pheasant wrapps
Post by: john and helen on April 01, 2013, 09:29:18 pm
this is how i do my pheasant, wood pigeon, and it works with rabbit too..

1st lay out pancetta ham or streaky bacon...

make sure the breast or choice cut is nice and flat, then lay on top of ham/bacon..

add a few pre-fried garlic mushrooms.... then a sprinkling of stilton cheese... wrap the ham/ bacon around the whole lot...

give it a quick flash in the frying pan.. then place in oven gas mk 6 for 15-18 minutes

serve with some fresh veg and roast pots...

That sounds divine! Shame my husband hates mushrooms and cheese!
