Title: Messages PM Sent Box

Morning all,
 
Just wondering if it is normal to have no messages in the Sent Box in PM?
I ask as, I know, I have sent 3 yet nothing shows in sent box.
I have had a reply to my initial PM - sent some months ago - but the other two were only sent in the last 24 hours so I do not even know if they were sent or not?
 
Hope someone can clarify this?

When you send a PM you need to make sure the box marked "Save a copy in my outbox" it ticked. If it's not ticked, you won't see the message in your sent items.

All messages you send are 'sent' regardless of whether you tick the box or not - i.e. they will appear in the recipient's in box and they will get an email notification unless they have opted out.

There is an add-on we can get that lets you see if a PM has been read or not - would that be useful, or an intrusion on the recipient's rights to ignore PMs?!

I actualy like that option because I sometimes forget to look to see if I have messages and when I am on my kindle i forget to check my emails  ::)

I personally would like that feature but understand some people may not. Maybe set up a forum poll to see what the consensus is?
