.... due to the snow, sleet, and rain... the only thing to do is crank the woodburner up.

It's odd isn't it - my mind says there's plenty I can do in the garden, even in the rain (or snow) but every instinct says not to bother. Sadly the instinct is winning and I know as soon as the sun comes out, I'll be kicking myself (and the bare root trees will be upset too).

Thankfully I planted 1000 bare root hedging plants and 500 or so willow last year though this damp weather would be ideal to do it in. Planing 300plus dahlia tubers isn't advisable however with frosty weather...... So m putting my feet up.

started building my new greenhouse on Thursday.... frame just visible peeking out the snow!!
