Title: shepherding
Post by: BLACKSHEEP46 on March 18, 2013, 03:59:42 pm
Have been asked to keep neighbour's 6 ewes for a few weeks pre and post lambing.  she will provide nuts - what do I charge for care and lambing ?  any advice please.

How much do you like your neighbour?  ;D

I'd do it for a couple of pints and the promise that they might look after my animals when they went away.

Other than that I cost my time at £15/hour.

We're big on barter in these parts.  A butchered lamb, good vegetables, a year's supply of jams and pickles ....?

Same here we like to barter rather any cash payment.
