Title: Anya Tattie Problem
Post by: Wellieboots on June 25, 2009, 11:54:50 am
I'm kinda stumped on a leaf problem on me Anya's at the mo. Lots of the lower leaves have what can only be described as brown dots (from a biro mark to large marker pen size) which look like the chlorophyll has "gone".

I doubt its blight (doesn't look right and hasn't affected any of the other tattie beds close by) but have heard that it might be mozaic virus, which is caused by aphids. Problem is, it doesn't look "mozaic-ie" just loads of brown dots.

Upper leaves are fine & after digging up one of the plants, tubers are fine (still a bit small) and a couple with scab, so any advice kindly accepted. ??? ;D

Now off to shade the greenhoose as its all a bit warm at the mo up here in Perthshire!
