Buyers market for sure, luckily we were buying. trio or Marrans £18, four POL bluebells £45 and a trio of New Hampshire red bantams for my daughter for £15.
People did get a little overexcited about the fancy and laying ducks though, a few high prices there, but muscovys going for next to nothing.

Has the bubble burst or is this just a blip, Carlisle and Thainstone both with low prices Dingwall was ok what was Lanark like last thursday.
-
I was at Forfar poultry sale last Thursday and definately buyers market. Prices were poor and not very busy with buyers, quietest sale I've Been to

Just wondering if the weather is putting people off buying. It doesn't really feel like Spring at them moment - not the part of weather where you want to get out and get stuff organised and started really.
-
I think the weather has a lot to do with it. Plus the poor chickens I did buy are wondering where I have taken them, the first three days it was chucking down with rain, now they are in a foot of snow. I think they may want to go home
