Right time to start firing up the old incubator again & I need a few tips & reminders the 1st is does anyone have a chart for humidity & temperature levels for hatching different species? Hen eggs are going in 1st as a trial then depending on what lays 1st it will be duck & goose eggs together or turkey eggs & maybe later in the year some quail eggs. Someone said to me before you could hatch turkey & hen eggs together but could they go in a brooder together? & is it advisable to have the 2 lots of eggs together? Also I have on order a humidity monitor should I just wait for it to come & check the levels or could I get away without it for hen eggs as I have a new thermometer for it?
The incubators a Corti fully automatic forced air 50 egg machine but I'm being stupid & can't remember if it turns the eggs once or twice a day? I think twice but my brains mush due to full on lambing (which is what I'm blaming it on anyways! ;D )
Also which do u guys prefer to use? clean eggs or dirty eggs? x

I didnt think you could hatch duck and geese together as their requirements are different but you can do duck and hen.
Our hen eggs are done at 50-60 humidity till day 15 I think (ll check that and get back to you) then up to 70 and on lock down till hatching.
I used dirty eggs for the hen but will clean the goose eggs. Duck eggs I bought clean

Hens :- 45% turned hourly until 3 days befor hatching then 67% stationary until hatched
37.5 deg until 3 days before hatching then down to 37deg
This is how we have done it for years :thumbsup:

Brill ta & well I don't know Jackie but we've done goose & duck eggs together for years & had high hatch & survival rates hatching & rearing together, I thought they were very similar, & a few people have said you can hatch & rear hens & turkeys together fine so will maybe try that after a batch of each x
