Title: Our youngest resident

at 2 days old, mum Chloe must have thought it was time to introduce him to the older calves.

And the oldest, Molly is an amazing 18.  She always comes up in calf, and is again running with the bull,  If its a heifer she always has a small one, if a bull, he is always a smasher!!

Great pictures Roxy, thanks. I never tire of looking at animals and the wonder of nature.

Question for you now, how did you manage to post these pictures as I have just tried and as Annie says I got the same message as her?

Well, just tried it and it worked.  It actually loaded a lot faster than if I had put it on the other forums I go on - it was instant!!!

The calf is not by the bull in the background - all the others are.  There is a story behind Chloe which I will post separately.

Beautiful photo's - nothing better than new life!

James hope this will help - it worked for me and I'm a total technophobe!  Good luck

How to post pictures

Firstly, get a photo-bucket account (if you don't have one do a google search and then register.

Then log in, you'll see "browse" buttons(3) ( you can select more)

Click on the browse button, it will normally take straight to the photo part of your hard drive.

select the photo you want then click open.  (You can repeat this as many times as you want if you click on the " add more " text.)

Then press/click the "UPLOAD" button below the browse buttons.

When the upload is finished, you will see your pics with three boxes below.

click on the bottom one, it should highlight blue!

Maximise the TAS window, bring up the page you want to add a picture to. place the cursor where you want the picture to go!   right click the mouse and select paste. The photo path should be on the page of the post you intend to send!

Click the preview button at the bottom. Your picture should appear on the post!

Then either save it, or repeat the copy and paste to PP stages, remembering you have to min and max the TAS forum and the photo bucket window ( do not close them )

And when your adding more pics,  Make sure the cursor is at the very end of the previous pic detail/path

You can resize each picture in photo bucket

I used the above advice from the Practical Poultry Forum and this worked for me.

Brilliant that your animals survive to 18 - not many get there.
