Title: Planting out potatoes
Post by: Fluffywelshsheep on June 14, 2009, 11:02:57 am
Okay just put the potatoes in to sacks (40litre bags) as they are small seed tatties i have put 4 to a bag  I normally uses 20 litre bags and have 2/3 to a bags.

Because it is late in the season i have put polasytrean in the bottom of the bags for drainage instead of stones chips (am just thinking that by the time they be ready i'll be almost ready to give birth so wont want to be carrying around heavy bags putting them in the greenhouse to avoid blight.

I might consider having a coupa tea (not had any for a long time) see if this will give me another energy to plant up the courgette plant and cabbage or brussel sprouts plants i also got from freecycle yesterday.

btw anyone seen runnerbeans plants around in shops ? Are then on short supply ?
(I have sown some in the ground but a bit slow germinating at the moment , I can only see a bout 3 in a row of 6 millions, lol)
