Birth notified at 8 weeks old boars £50 gilts £60 Pedigree BPA registered boars £65 gilts £75
Are you nearby to us? Very happy for anyone to visit for a look.

Hi,
I'm after them for meat, just a newbie at pigs, so starting simply the first year. No, unfortunately not close by, on the Isle of Lewis. We hopefully have someone driving past your area in the next month, so hoping they could pick them up if all is a go.

How many are you interested in?
Do you have a CPH and/or herd number yet?
We are a wee bit concerned over such a long trip for our babies. How would you collect them? Haulier?

Pigs travel very long distances very well. Give them plenty of straw, not too much room and they will be fine. The worst scenario would be travellng in very hot weather and finding yourself in a hold up, when you would need plenty of ventilation and water. Not gong to be a problem at this time of year.

Hi,
I would just be wanting two, and yes, we have a CHP.
We have someone driving up with a stock trailer to pick up a couple of highland heifers and take them down south. We were hoping to combine trips.
I completely understand if you think it's too long a journey though.

Hi Katherine,
we would be very happy for you to have a couple and are sure they would be fine travellng. It sounds as if the transport arrangements will work well.
Our butcher has asked to buy all the gilts so are you happy with boars? They are really good looking boys, will try and get a couple of pics for you. He says its the best meat he has butchered and he has a very popular farm shop.
The piggies we have are a joint venture with friends next door and they are very excited that they will be going to the Isle of Lewis. They adore Scotland and although regular visitors they are keen to do the islands.
There was a suggestion we all visit the piglets in the spring!
