My spud plants have not yet flowered but on the way, when I went out today I found some had fallen over... Any ideas, is it the rain or do I need to earth up again? Will they recover?
Advice please :-*

they might just be ready. I'm sure some of my plants didn't flower last year.
how long have they been on the go for?

Most proberly got knocked off by the heavy rain , don't think you need the tatties to flower just need to have them in the ground for enought time

not all of them flower, might have to do with the variety. They'll most likely be fine. :&>

you'll have sweet little ones with a few average size now for the earlies - we've taken up those in the bags & are leavin the raised bed ones for later. Flowering is always the traditional thought about tatties, but if they are earlies then you'll have some nice wee ones already. The later you leave them, the bigger they;ll grow, so its a patience game!
