Very pleased to have moved to Oz and bought a house with a grape wine. So very, very excited to watch my produce grow which already has what look like tiny deflated bunches of grapes on it. We also have three trees full of young nectarines and a very large walnut tree. My biggest problem here will be keeping the cockatoos and Rainbow lorikeets off my produce.

Becca, that doesn't sound like a problem at all to me. I would love to have those birds around ;D

The birds are amazingly beautiful. They are all relatively tame as well so you can get very close to them. I don't think I will ever get bored of watching them

How wonderful! Great to have a grape vine as well. I have never had one but I know you have to prune them well to get rid of the leaves and let the sun in. Bet that lets the birds in as well.
BTW, you can make wine from the leaves. I have a recipe somewhere.
