We collected our 3 chooks from the next village on Sunday, and they've settled in brilliantly with an egg each yesterday and 2 so far today. Wasting a lot of time watching them and observing their different personalities.
....Even the dogs seem to think they are fascinating - after establishing that the hens are 'friends' and not tob barked at or chased, they now keep going out to the run and looking and sniffing - seemed quite puzzled the first night when they were shut up in the henhouse!
