Title: Where are all the acorns?

Is it just me, or is there a serious lack of acorns this year? Last autumn we were awash with them, and the pigs were having a field day. Now its hard to try and find them on the oaks around my field! Is it just my little patch of kent, or has anyone else noticed? Hazelnuts too!  ???

Same here in Yorkshire, not many on exposed oak trees but there is one sheltered one that seems to have a good crop but think might leave those for the squirrels.
