Title: Easy work for future flower beds
Post by: escapedtothecountry on October 11, 2012, 05:59:09 pm
Very pleased that the second hand rotovator I bought has finally come back from having an initial service. Given I have lots of flower beds to create - and around 2,500 daffodil bulbs to get in the ground (leaving it a tad late) this should help save me from doing everything with the old spade!

Been a bit boring and went for all the same varieties - Sir Winston Churchill. Will definitely share some photos! Better make sure they go in deep enough so the lovely bunnies don't unearth them all!

I was once told to put spring bulbs at different levels so you get a longer display - sounds logical but don't know if it works as I've never tried it.
