Title: Dry Curing Salt for home curing
Post by: alecwatt on May 17, 2009, 12:20:29 pm
Hi

Anyone looking for curing salts to make your own hams or cured meats?
If so I have 1kg bags of coarse organic salt and 1kg bags of Apple wood / Maple wood smoked salts, for dry curing your own meats, or fish or vegetables (chillis and Peppers) if needed.

Yes I am!  I cheated last week and bought a dry cured joint from the butcher, covered it in honey and roasted it, it was delicious!! but I'd like to do the whole process myself, what do I need exactly? how much is it? and is it easy?

Yes, but what are your prices?  What is postage?

Google "Butchers Sundriesmen"
I use GB Davies of Gloucester, but Scobies Junor in Scotland also do mail order with superfast delivery and will send recipes if requested.
