Hi,
We are now raising our first pigs, 2 Oxford Sandy & Black boy's, they are nearing slaughter age and our problem is where is it best to advertise ?
We will be selling them as half or whole pigs, we are in Pickering North Yorkshire. Is the local paper best to try ? or cards in local shops.
Any advice would be very greatfully received.
Thanks
Debbie

Have you asked friends and family? thats where all mine goes!

Don't you usually think of that sort of thing before buying weaners? That's what stopped me in the past. Not got room here for them anyway.

I'd think you'd want to keep at least half for yourself then ask around, I usually dont have enough to round!

We use a whole pig in 12 months. We are lardy bloaters though.

Word of mouth. Sell out!
