Title: Lleyn or Lleyn cross shearling ewes wanted
Post by: BrookfieldFarm on August 13, 2012, 08:53:38 am: Looking for lleyn or lleyn x shearling ewes. Not looking for large number, just 3/4. Ideally located in the Shropshire/Powys area but willing to travel for the right stock.

You could just ask if he would be happy to do such small numbers, but I think he might.

Not exactly round the corner from you but not much further than the Steens mentioned previously. I have pedigree Lleyns entered into carlisle at end of September so might be able to bring them with me as far as that if you are interested? We are small but weel established breeders of Lleyns and Zwartbles so all our sheep are well handled, also we are MV acredited.

If your free on wednesday you should have a trip to Bakewell market where there's a pedigree Lleyn sale. You will beable to meet breeders maybe able to help. We are taking two pens of five Lleyn ewe lambs and have some more at home but unfortunately no shearlings but others will! Sale starts at 12 after the store lamb sale.

Can put them in lamb if you like or take them anytime.

Quality sheep. Near Hay-on-Wye.

Choice of about 900 more if you want them from a bigger flock.
