Title: Pineapple mint

Has anyone tried growing pineapple mint. Dose it need any special care? I got 3 plants last week it smells fantastic.

You'll find it's not so invasive and a little bit more delicate than ordinary mint. Where I lived before here I had large collection of different mints and keep planning to do so again (planning is as far as I have got though ::) ) So just treat it as a tender herb and it should do well. Oh! and I would shelter it in winter :garden:

Thanks for that info :thumbsup: . I didn't know any mint could be delicate. will fleece him this winter.

My neighbour gave me some and its done brilliantly, its pretty as well I think. Has survived our minus twenty but then the plant she has must also have done so tough strain I think!

I had Pineapple and grapefruit but they both died :(  Not for salt winds perhaps.
